Vision

Over the past decades our world has changed far more than the ways of experiencing classical music. Our answer is a collective of award-winning young music educators, cultural managers and musicians, and the vision «Simple Symphony».

an INITIATIVE refining how new audiences encounter and fall in love with the form

a HOMAGE to its namesake Benjamin Britten and his efforts as a music educator

Artistic Director

Joseph Sieber

Initiator of Simple Symphony. Assistant conductor at Basel Sinfonietta. Founder of the Central Switzerland Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Business Director

Dshamilja Schurtenberger

Independent cultural manager and artist agent (DSHAMsession). Trained in cultural and media management; previously at IMG Artists, Lucerne Festival, Gstaad Menuhin Festival.

Web & Digital

Lior Kamanga

Violist, violinist and self-taught software engineer. He learned to code alongside his music studies. Today he builds and maintains the website and signup platform of the Repertoire Orchestra, in which he also plays.

Project Advisory & Counsel

Lukas Züblin

Head of the Director's Staff at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts — Music. Studies in music (MA in Music Pedagogy and MA in Performance), with further training in finance and quality management. Guest lecturer (continuing education, HSLU — Music) and speaker on digital transformation in the music industry. Various projects and mandates in politics and culture.
