A concert by request! The Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra (LFCO) moves from the KKL into Lucerne's old town – and turns into a live jukebox. You can browse the catalogue of works and help decide what gets played. The repertoire reaches from Vivaldi and Beethoven to Smetana's Moldau or Dukas' Sorcerer's Apprentice. And of course, fitting the festival motto «American Dreams», there is music by George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein and John Adams. Conductor Joseph Sieber presents the programme.
